This week, the Ocean County Board of Elections rolled in real, live voting booths to help Manchester Township Elementary School (MTES) students get out their vote! Students learn annually about the importance of voting by casting their own ballots on something pertinent to their school community. They have the opportunity to explore and vote inside the same style of voting booths the community uses for public elections.
MTES is having their Barnes & Noble Book Night Fundraiser on Tuesday, October 19th from 5-7 pm. Students voted today for which MTES Flying Dragon Signature Drink flavor should appear on the Starbucks menu at Barnes & Noble in Brick during their school fundraiser. Grades K-5 cast their votes and will learn that evening which drink won!
