Wizard Brew & Magic Milk were some of the Spooky Experiments that 7th Grade Science Students taught Ridgeway's 5th Graders Today!

Today Ridgeway's 5th grade classes visited with Manchester Township Middle School's 7th Grade Science Classes for A Chemical Changes Collaboration!

During their time together today, the 7th grade students instructed the 5th grade students at various chemistry stations while they rotated between three MTMS science labs.

The students learned science experiments with a Halloween twist such as creating Wizard's Brew utilizing baking soda, dish soap, vinegar, and food coloring, mixing up Magic Milk with milk, food coloring, cotton balls, and dish soap, investigating Invisible Ink with baking soda, water, turmeric, rubbing alcohol, q-tips and paint brushes, and so much more!

It was a great time for all as the students worked together on identifying if the experiment resulted in a physical or a chemical change.  Thank you to all of the staff who made this field trip possible for all involved today!
