Dear MTES Families,
I hope this letter finds you well and that you are enjoying a restful and rejuvenating summer. It is with tremendous pride that I take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new principal of Manchester Township Elementary School!
During my time as vice principal at MTES, I have been fortunate to work closely with our talented staff, dedicated families, and most importantly, our amazing students. I have cherished the relationships we have built and the collaborative spirit that defines our school. It is this spirit of partnership and commitment to excellence that inspires me as I step into this new role.
Allow me to share a bit about myself. I have been in education for over twenty years. I began my career as a kindergarten teacher and then taught grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working in various educational roles, including Supervisor of Humanities grades 6-12, Dean, and Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction grades PK-6. The past two school years I have been lucky enough to be the Vice Principal here at MTES.
At Manchester Township Elementary School, my goal is to build upon and continue the existing culture of excellence and achievement, and to work collaboratively with our exceptional staff to provide an enriching educational experience for all students. I believe in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates student success in all areas, promotes positive citizenship, and values the unique talents and contributions of every individual.
I am truly excited to embark on this journey with all of you. Please feel free to reach out to me at 732-323-6900 or ehealy@mtschools.org.
I look forward to an exciting year and seeing all our Dragons in September.
Sincerely,
Ellen Healy
