Manchester Township High School (MTHS) students answered the call from the community who were looking to our students for technology support. Fifteen students from MTHS volunteered their time on Monday by visiting Crestwood Village IV to lend a helping hand.
Students and staff were welcomed warmly by fifty members from the Crestwood Village IV community who were excited for the opportunity to have students answer their technology questions. Flawlessly organized by community member and Mayor's Liaison, Judy Noonan, the students were able to jump right in to work helping the community. Although the demand for our student's support was high, the session allowed time for each student to provide their undivided attention, answers, and support to community member's technology questions such as helping to solve Wi-Fi issues, conducting searches, app suggestions for photo printing capabilities, FaceTime basics so that community members could connect with their family members, email skills, and so much more.
The MTHS students, staff and Crestwood Village VI community members were so happy with their time spent together learning and growing their technology skills. We are so proud of the MTHS students who volunteered their time today to members of the Manchester community in this way. You truly are living our district motto Excellence By Example!
