Last evening, the Manchester Township Board of Education together with the school district staff and community celebrated the 35 Manchester Township High School (MTHS) students who achieved a high score of 4 or 5 on their Advanced Placement (AP) Exams during the 2023-24 school year.
The AP program at Manchester Township High School provides opportunities for MTHS students to engage in rigorous college-level coursework and potentially earn college credit before graduating. These courses are designed to be as challenging as introductory college classes, providing students with an academic experience that enhances their readiness for higher education. AP courses help students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving, which are crucial for success in college and beyond.
Scores of 4 or 5 on an AP exam indicate a high level of mastery and readiness for college-level work. The success of these students in AP courses is significantly attributed to the dedication of the students to their course work as well as the dedication and expertise of the MTHS AP faculty, who provide the necessary guidance and support to help students excel in these challenging courses.
We are proud of our AP students for their achievements of a score of 4 or 5 (35 students)!
