The annual AP Colloquium is currently being held at Ocean County College. Tunning for six days from Tuesday, October 15 to Tuesday, October 29, each day provides an opportunity for AP staff members from across the County to come together and focus on different content areas.
The main purpose of the Colloquium is to provide a space for AP teachers to come together and collaborate. They share best practices, and resources and address challenges together. Manchester has a variety of AP teachers attending these events which provide free and meaningful professional development.
Each day, AP teachers volunteer to be facilitators of their designated topic area. For example, on October 23rd, Manchester's own Lucy Giavatto-Carfagno did an amazing job facilitating the sessions for World Language teachers! She led collaborative and enriching sessions that received great feedback from other AP teachers.
Thank you to the OC3, the Ocean County Curriculum Consortium for sponsoring the AP Colloquium and to Ocean County College who donates space for the events!
