Today was an exciting day at Manchester Township Middle School. Students were introduced to the House System, which made its debut!
The purpose of the House System is to build a strong sense of connection throughout the school among all students. Students came together today and their house was revealed to them as they opened up envelopes excitedly sharing their house color and room number. They then proceeded to their individual houses where they met their housemates and teacher advisors. Each house is assigned a value such as citizenship, integrity, responsibility, patience, kindness, gratitude and more!
The MTMS houses will meet monthly to interact with each other and partake in activities with students and staff. Students can also earn points for their house in-between meetings. These days are filled with so much fun and camaraderie. Great job MTMS!
