Manchester Township School District's (MTSD) staff members are back in class over the next few days. Half days for students provide the opportunity for staff to participate in valuable professional development (PD) that ensures effectiveness in the classroom.
The hallways of every school in Manchester are quiet as the classrooms buzz with collaboration.
At the high school level, staff are administering final exams, transitioning semesters, participating in departmental meetings, and diving into resources available to to apply during instruction.
At the middle and elementary school, staff members are fulfilling mandatory requirements at all levels. They are also collaborating and analyzing data to plan for future instruction.
Even the MTSD support staff members participate in the professional development. Everyone from our valued paraprofessionals to our dedicated secretarial staff is provided with beneficial PD opportunities. Time is maximized to keep updated with standards and the best practices that ensure we are always efficiently serving our students and school community.
