Manchester's students who are participating in the school district's Extended School Year (ESY) program have been very creative in art class this summer!
All of the ESY students, from Kindergarten through High School, have been working on many different projects and exploring multiple art mediums. Some art projects, such as the sun and water lines, are neurographic drawing projects which are calming and meditative.
All projects were selected to improve fine motor skills and review art elements. Students worked on three-dimensional projects using markers, colored pencils, and/or crayons, worked with watercolors, drew self-portraits of themselves snorkeling, created sun collages, worked on silhouettes, and more!
