The MTSD combined Middle School and High School Gospel Chorus is hosting its first musical talent show to honor black performers, musicians, and writers on Thursday, February 29th at the MTHS auditorium.
The theme and selections chosen are to celebrate songs and musical pieces that were written by, or made famous by black artists. All are welcome to participate as contestants. There is a $5 registration fee and a $5 entrance fee for the event.
The registration form that contains additional details can be found in every school's virtual backpack. It was also shared with each music teacher for students.
All registration forms must be submitted to Mrs. Rutz at Manchester Middle School or Ms. Ramirez at Manchester High School by Wednesday, February 21st. The event is limited to 25 performers/acts at 5 minutes each, from start to finish. Contestants will be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis. An email will be sent to you to acknowledge receipt of your registration.
