At Manchester Township Elementary School, they gathered last evening for the culmination of their One School, One Book initiative! With One School, One Book, the school selects a book, and each student receives a copy to read at home as a family. At school, students celebrate and explore the book with their classmates. The program reinforces reading instruction, increases parental involvement, bridges the home-school connection, and builds a true community of readers (https://readtothem.org/one-school-one-book/).
