The Manchester Township School District's (MTSD) Universal Preschool Program continues working to celebrate the end of the Creative Curriculum’s Clothing Study. As mentioned earlier in the week, each class chooses a culminating celebration that connects the students to the lessons they've been learning.
Today, Ms. McNeill's preschool class at Whiting Elementary School completed the Clothing Study unit. The class wanted to incorporate all of the letters of the alphabet that they have learned so far this year into their Clothing Study Celebration. The letters A through L were the focus, and fashion was their medium!
Each child in Ms. McNeill's class got creative. They became fashion clothing designers by making homemade vests with their families that focused on and highlighted their assigned letters. Today the students walked the runway modeling the vests that they designed and created! Everyone had a wonderful time!
We look forward to seeing what our youngest learners explore next as they move from the Clothing Study into the Wheels Study!
