The Manchester Township School District's (MTSD) partnership with the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library (OCL) reaches students at all grade levels. Today, Miss Isabelle visited the preschool students at Whiting Elementary School (WES) for an interactive story break during their snack time!
Miss Isabelle was a welcomed special guest to our youngest learners. She brought stories to life with props that each student used. Let it be using a fuzzy ball or a paper steering wheel, she engaged every preschooler by bringing to life the story she was reading.
Thank you to the Ocean County Library for their partnership. In addition to visiting the school district, Manchester Township High School (MTHS) students volunteer at the OCL as Homework Buddies. MTHS students can be found weekly at the Manchester Branch of the OCL supporting local students of all grades. This partnership not only helps to instill a lifelong love of reading and learning in students as young as Manchester's preschool students but also engages all learners and encourages them to visit the library and utilize it as a wonderful resource available to all in our community.
