Manchester's Universal Preschool Students are continuing with their Buildings Study and learned about building construction last week thanks to a visit by Mr. Cataldo to Whiting Elementary and this week thanks to a visit to Manchester Township Elementary School by Mr. Michael & Mr. Russell!
Mr. Cataldo is a sheet metal worker. He visited Whiting's preschool students to discuss his line of work. He shared with them the importance of his uniform, and the students asked incredible questions about safety in construction. He then let them see his work van, tools and concluded by teaching them about a building blueprint.
Mr. Michael and Mr. Russell talked to Manchester Township Elementary School's preschool students about HVAC systems and their important role in a building. They shared what tools they use to install and fix HVAC systems and explained exactly how the systems keep our buildings comfortable with heat and air conditioning.
The students learned so much from our visitors this week. Thank you for sharing your important jobs with our preschool students!
