March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to celebrate inclusion and recognize that people of all abilities strengthen our community. Today, the MTSD is participating with an Everybody Counts Day. Students and staff are wearing shirts with numbers to show that every individual matters!

Congratulations to Jossalyn Y. who proudly represented MTMS and MTSD at the 8th Grade Dialogue hosted by the New Jersey School Boards Association in collaboration with the Ocean County School Boards Association!
Jossalyn was selected as our school’s representative and joined students from across the county to reflect on her elementary and middle school experiences, share her future aspirations, and speak about the impact of her school community.

One of MTHS's freshmen is not only a dedicated student but also a driven Eagle Scout on a rare quest to earn all 142 merit badges. For his Reading Merit Badge, he is running a book drive to help kids in need! The Read Across America fun continued today at the RDS with classrooms buzzing with excitement as students welcomed special guest readers for a fun twist on storytime! Our Superintendent of Schools, Diane Pedroza, excitedly joined in as always, visiting classrooms and sharing some favorite stories with students.
